So Kathryn had this Ipod and it was giving the frown face that it was broken and to call Apple. I called them and they wanted 199 for it to be replaced with a refurb. I said fuck that.

So I got some parts for a lot less, $27 total and with tools. I also decided to replace the mediocre battery while I'm in there replacing the drive.
