Really who was keeping score?

The next morning there was this guy on a Rascal with a trailer scooting around trying to find cans

We got some Sonic, I fanned out. I hadn't had it in 4 years. The breakfast sandwiches are huge.

The Sonic Sunrise (cherry limeade + oj) was fucking amazing

On the way home we stopped in Normal to say hi to Rusty and see our old alma mater.

If you like Girl Talk's album, chances are it was here before you got it.

Rusty took us around town, first Stephanie wanted to see the old children's home. I guess someone bought this building and began to re-hab it (left side), Stephanie was amazed because of how run down it was before. You can see the before/after here.

The new US Cellular Coliseum, home to many trashy arena football and hockey nights

Varsity Club and some other restaurants used to stand at the corner on the left ahead. Behind that building is a Potbelly's and Noodles + Co. No more KFC.

Shroeder Hall, where most of my classes were at. Completely re-done, it began right before I graduated, it's no longer a 60's time warp.

The Alamo II where you can purchase all your books, re-done as well.

The left side used to be a place where I'd bought plenty of cigarettes and beer from and snuck them into the dorm I lived in on the right. Now it's leveled to make way for a Marriott.

A few bars used to stand there, now this children's museum is the replacement.

The view of downtown Normal. Awfully weird and full of new additions/replacements.

The old Thursday night hang out, The Stadium/Cellar used to stand on the left. Blormal is starting to look like a reputable college town, this was just a taste of all the new buildings.

It's kind of nuts actually, and almost surreal to even be back there. Thanks for the tour Rusty.
